It was a great experience visiting Kyoto wearing a kimono. I would say that this memory will last a lifetime. My wife and I have great pictures visiting different temples around Kyoto. VASARA kimono rental was really a great help in providing this service. We were trying to reserve online, but since our hotel was very close, we decided to stop by. They were very nice to accommodate us without the reservation. The staff were very friendly and will make sure to look your best. We got great compliments from some people on our tour bus rides. Recommend that you use a hop on, hop off bus so you can easily go to different temples. The kimono was very comfortable even on a somewhat hot summer day. We really enjoyed this experience and would do it again. Big thanks to the staff. Arigatou gozaimasu! Last tip: If using Google maps to find the place, and it brings you to the side streets, just go back to the main road, the entrance to the building is there. They have a kimono display outside the building, and the place is on the 6th floor.

really good experience

My husband and I wanted to experience wearing traditional kimonos during our first trip to Japan. We found VASARA Kimono Rental through a Google search and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! The staff of VASARA are extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed chatting with them (in both English and a small amount of Japanese from our side), asking their advice on colors and kimono matching, and picking out our kimonos! There were lots of amazing choices, including lots of hairstyle options for women. Some styles were an additional charge, so keep that in mind! Overall 5/5 star experience and we would go back for rentals again in the Kyoto area!

友達5人で10時予約をWebでして来店、当日着物を選び 着付けからのヘアーアレンジ、 着物もいくつも種類があり選ぶのも楽しい、 値段的にお手頃価格なので、着付けも簡単な感じと思っていましたが実際はきちんとしており、ヘアーアレンジもオプションにしましたが丁寧で大満足、東本願寺やカフェに寄り写真も沢山撮りました、JR京都駅から5分程なので、とても便利でスタッフの方も丁寧でとてもおすすめです
