This is a beautiful shop, with a wide range of beautiful kimonos! They also speak English and are foreigner-friendly. Some of the kindest shop owners I’ve met in Japan! Rent your kimono/yukata here!

Good selection of Kimonos even for 1-star. The ladies at VASARA Kamakura were very friendly, and were skilled and efficient in dressing me in my kimono, and tying my (rather dry & always messy) hair into a neat bun that lasted throughout the day. Love that I could wear the kimono from 9.30am-5.30pm making my money’s worth and taking photos around kamakura in it!

My friends and I had a great time at VASARA Kimono Rental Kamakura Station! I booked a reservation on Klook and the checkin went smoothly. The workers were helpful and kind while we were choosing our kimonos and yukata. We recommend this kimono rental shop to everyone who is stopping by Kamakura!
