Gorgeous and elegant kimonos. Accommodated larger person comfortably. Very kind and attentive staff. Only issue was slipperiness of the getas. Bottoms were flat and untextured, Kanazawa rains a lot, and there is a lot of smooth ground around.
We did not have an appointment and just walked in. Staff was extremely helpful and quick! I am a plus size (18) in the USA and they were able to accommodate while being extremely kind the whole time! Everything is very customizable! There are so many components to the outfit I didnt know about! Getting into the outfit was fun to see itself! The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the shoes, but I also didnt expect them to be super comfortable. My husband's had no grip and he almost fell a few times. Awesome experience though. We went to a tea ceremony, took some pictures and brought them back after!
